It's summertime in the Texas Hill Country which means it's festival time!
One of the most fun and entertaining parts of living in the Texas Hill Country is all the great fairs and festivals. Every community has a big party to pay homage to something whether it be a fruit, flower, food, or furry creature! Well maybe not so much on the furry creatures, but you get the point!
Just up the highway in our neighboring Blanco County is the Blanco Lavender Festival!
One of Blanco, Texas' claims to fame is being dubbed the Lavender Capital of Texas...mmmmmmmm...you can almost smell the lovely scent of lavender just thinking about it.
